- Sáminuorra creates meeting venues for Sámi youth. We do this through our projects and local associations, but also by creating conditions for young Sámi to meet, socialize and exchange knowledge and experiences. Every year we organize a youth conference in conjunction with our annual meeting, which attracts a lot of Sámi youth!
- Sáminuorra runs political issues that are important for our members. We are a strong agent in the Sámi community, and we stand up for the future of Sámi youth. We operate in both Sámi forums as well as in international contexts such as the UN and the EU.
- Sáminuorra runs projects for Sámi youth on many different issues, such as language, LGBTQ issues, national education, sports and music.
- Sáminuorra participates in the development of society both locally and internationally. We are involved in, and influence, many Sámi and nationwide associations from within as part of boards, steering groups, councils and partnerships.
